Oil PastelsWe worked with oil pastels and I hated them. I dont like to work with them because they are really hard to use. I also thought that they were really hard to blend and just hard to color with i guess. Colored pencilsI really liked working with colored pencils because they're really easy to blend with. They're also not messy so thats good too. I like them because you can actually have like straight lines. oil pastels colored pencils chalk pastelsArtists create original art My artwork was original because at first I found a picture of a butterfly on google, but then I didnt like how it looked so I just kind of did it the way I liked it. I kind of related to this project because they say when a butterfly lands on you its good luck and I drew it on a hand because I felt like when you look at butterfly's you think about how beautiful it is and I tried to make it look special. The main thing I tried to do was make you notice the butterfly because thats what most important to me. Artists take risks I took a risk with my artwork by trying charcoal for the first time on an actual drawing. It turned out okay and im glad I did it but I probably should have practiced a little more. By taking that risk it helped me as practice so I could get better at charcoal. Portrait of a Child Drawing
